Privacy Policy

The Shed Studio ("we," "us," "our") operates theshedstudio.ai. This page explains what information we collect from visitors to this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We built this site to be simple on purpose, and that's reflected in what we actually collect: not much.

What we collect

Project inquiries. When you submit the contact form to start a project, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, studio or company name, project type, timeline, budget range, and project details. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if we move forward, to scope and deliver the work.

Standard hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs technical information common to any web request — IP address, browser/user-agent string, and the page that referred you — for form submissions and site traffic. We don't add any additional analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts of our own to this site.

Newsletter. If you sign up for Shed Studio Weekly, that signup happens on Beehiiv, a third-party newsletter platform — not on this site. Beehiiv's own privacy policy (beehiiv.com/privacy) governs that data, not this one.

How we use it

Project inquiry information is used to evaluate and respond to your request, communicate about a potential or active project, and — if you become a client — to deliver and invoice the work. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We don't use your inquiry details for advertising.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider, as part of running this site — they act as a data processor on our behalf, not an independent user of your information. We don't otherwise share inquiry data with third parties, except where required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any information you've submitted through this site at any time — emailhello@theshedstudio.aiand we'll take care of it. If you're a California resident, this includes the rights to know what personal information we hold about you and to request its deletion, consistent with the California Consumer Privacy Act. We don't sell personal information, so there's no opt-out needed for that.

Cookies

This site doesn't set its own cookies for tracking or analytics. Netlify may use minimal, functional cookies as part of serving the site and processing form submissions.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Given the small scope of what this site collects, we don't expect that to happen often.
