Terms of Service

Last updated August 31, 2026

These terms apply to your use of theshedstudio.ai, operated by The Shed Studio (Hau Tran, San Diego, CA). By browsing this site or submitting a project inquiry, you agree to the terms below. If something here doesn't work for a specific project, that's what the actual conversation and any written agreement is for — these terms cover the site itself, not the terms of a particular deal.

Using this site

This site exists to showcase original music available for sync licensing and to let studios reach out about a project. You're welcome to browse the catalog and listen to what's here. Please don't use the site to submit false information, attempt to access areas of the site not intended for public use, or interfere with its normal operation.

Project inquiries aren't a contract

Submitting the contact form starts a conversation, not a binding agreement. No license, exclusivity, project commitment, or payment obligation exists on either side until we've both agreed to specific terms in writing (an invoice, license agreement, or equivalent written confirmation).

Music & intellectual property

Every track on this site is original work produced by The Shed Studio. All rights are retained by The Shed Studio unless and until a specific license is purchased and paid for. Listening to a track on this site, or downloading a preview, does not grant any license to use it in a project. Reproducing, redistributing, or using any track from this site without a paid license is not permitted.

No warranty

This site and its content are provided as-is. We do our best to keep the catalog, descriptions, and information accurate and the site running smoothly, but we don't guarantee the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Shed Studio isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. This doesn't limit any liability that can't legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site or the business evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
